Do I wear makeup to the dermatologist?
Wearing makeup to your appointment is not recommended. Seeing your skin in its natural state will allow us to diagnose your concerns better. It is also necessary to remove makeup from the skin before undergoing many treatments for them to be effective. Nevertheless, we understand that some patients may prefer to wear makeup. If that is the case, please bring some wipes to the dermatology office so we can remove the makeup before the consultation begins.
